How Sentinella Reads the Territory
That orange dot is one of ours, drawn to scale. 40,000 Sentinella cells fit inside a single national square.
The way it's done now
Most national wildfire systems still assess weather across squares this wide, a single colour smeared over an entire coast. A village and the empty ridge above it get the same number. That's how €150–350M in premium gets mispriced every year across Spain's residential wildland-urban book.
The way Sentinella does it
We score risk for every 50 m cell across the territory. Small enough to identify a single building and precise enough to price it.
Risk
From Signal to Risk
Sentinella reads every public signal available — satellite, weather, terrain, history — then models two things for every 50 m cell: where a fire is likely to start, and how it would spread. Fused, they are one number — wildfire risk.

Use cases
Insurance is Underpricing Wildfire Risk
Wildfire risk is priced on postcode zones drawn decades ago. At 50 m resolution, the right buildings get the right premium.

Modelled annual loss across them
On this ridge alone, roughly €50k a year of premium sits on the wrong policies. Scale that across Spain's residential wildland-urban book and it's €150–350M a year in mispriced premium.
Indicative figures, anchored on Mediterranean WUI loss-cost assumptions. Production calibration uses insurer claim data — available via pilot.
Data Gap of the Public Sector
Spain spends €2.7bn a year fighting fires. Most of that spend happens after ignition.
The same risk surface, a different question: where do we spend the prevention budget? Sentinella scores every cell so fire services, civil protection and land-use planners can prioritise with precision and not waste resources.

Pilots & partnerships
Let's talk.
Sentinella scores wildfire risk for every 50 m cell across the Mediterranean: residential, agricultural, infrastructure and public land. A pilot delivers property-level risk in 30 days.
